    Shimeji Event

    08/18/2010

    Shimeji is a mushroom.

Also it’s a Japanese language input software for Android.

The name comes from the initial of web API dictionary, “Social IME”. And they just added “ji” at the end.

    (this is Shimeji)

Chef made Shimeji dishes at this event.

“Shimeji & Enoki mushroom wrapped with thin sliced  pork

.  He poured homemade ponzu sauce over grated radish side of zucchini.

The combination of these ingredients are excellent. It’s good for a hot night.

Chef  made “Coconuts milk chicken skewers” .

Each skewer has zucchini, shrimp, mushroom and coconuts milk chicken. He put guacamole sauce on top.

We served “cauliflower mousse” and sushi rolls, which are Ohinko roll, okra roll, spicy calamari roll, spicy shrimp roll and chicken cheese roll.

Our next event will be at sake tasting on August 24th,
